Phew. That was kinda stressful. I didn't want to screw up ANOTHER drawing by trying to color it. I think it came out rather well, though, don't you?

I am way more excited about this than a normal person should be.

I've been working on another piece (which will be up soon) for a few days, and I finally got the markers I needed today to finish it. Before doing so, however, I wanted to test them out and make sure they were exactly what I wanted without ruining the picture.

This started as a test-scrap, and ended up something I'm very proud of. It was quick, and as you can see very, very simple, but I still think it looks good. I was apprehensive at first about the lack of different tones, but I have no regrets at all now.

For a long time, I've been toying with the notion of doing a comic, maybe web-based. I'm not into painting or spending hours in Paintshop, so I planned on doing it entirely in black and white. The way this turned out just encourages me to actually do it now. I may use some color, just to get some moderate shades of gray. I don't know. Shut up and look at the pretty picture.

It's not very good, but I still kinda like it.

I drew this over the course of a night or two, when I was at U of C in England. I was bored, I was lonely, I wanted to RP...but of course, this was the best I could do. I just felt like being creative, and this started out as Moriko and rapidly became Phaia.

Drawn in pencil, scanned and colored in Microsoft Image Composer, 'sepcially for Dutchess.
